During the third quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing market in Peru on the iOS platform saw notable activity among the top five apps, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how each app performed in terms of downloads and active user engagement.

inDrive. Save on city rides from SUOL INNOVATIONS LTD saw a dynamic trend in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 13.7K in the final week of July. However, downloads tapered off slightly towards the end of the quarter, ending at around 9.3K. In terms of active users, inDrive maintained a relatively stable user base, starting the quarter with around 75.8K and concluding at approximately 72.9K.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of about 10.7K in mid-August. Active user numbers also showed a positive trajectory, increasing from around 31K at the start of July to roughly 34.4K by the end of September.

Lastly, Cabify experienced a varied download pattern, with a peak of about 2.5K towards the end of August. Active user numbers reflected a similar trend, beginning with approximately 31.4K and closing the quarter at around 29.2K.
